Our Services

In 1991, Dr. Ford [ a podiatrist] began to realize that the hospital was not the place for his patients to be treated. The hospital is a very intimidating place and is not necessary for the surgeries that we do. The infection rate is also higher in a hospital than in a Surgery Center.

With that in mind, Dr. Ford built his own surgery center which was licensed by the State of Nevada and Medicare in 1991. There are very rigid standards that must be met in order to qualify for this license and this is an ongoing process as we are inspected regularly.

WE ARE PLEASED THAT SINCE 1991, WE HAVE PERFORMED OVER 3500 FOOT SURGERY CASES IN THE FORD CENTER FOR FOOT SURGERY.

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT RECENTLY OUR CENTER RECEIVED ACCREDITATION BY THE ACCREDITATION ASSOCIATION FOR AMBULATORY HEALTH CARE (AAAHC). THIS IS A VERY DIFFICULT ACCREDITATION TO RECIEVE AND WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR STAFF FOR THEIR HARD WORK.

In the center, we offer the comfort of a non-hospital environment with all of the safety features of a hospital. In addition, we offer I.V. sedation administered by one of our qualified Anesthesiologists.
